WI-FI NETWORK AT THE LEVEL OF THE RESORT AND THE REQUIREMENTS OF GUESTS
When we started out in 2015, the hotel had a very basic Wi-Fi infrastructure that was not able to meet the needs and demands of its guests, of the people who attended events held there, and even of the employees themselves.
Therefore, the challenge we faced when we were asked to manage the hotel’s Wi-Fi connectivity was to do everything possible to ensure that this service was up to the standard of the resort itself.

KEY DEVICES AND TECHNOLOGY TO OBTAIN THE DESIRED RESULTS
To address this challenge, we began with a detailed study of the facilities. In the initial stages, we deployed access points equipped with CHT (Cognitive Hotspot Technology) in the hotel’s corridors.
Subsequently, we focused on the need to improve connectivity in the common and outdoor areas of the complex, especially around the pools.
Next, a complete network reorganization was carried out, including switches and a firewall network enhancer, as well as a second fiber optic ring and the pre-configuration of various VLANs.
To enhance the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms, an access point was installed in each one. Additionally, Alexa was implemented in the rooms to manage home automation, and individual networks were created.
A cloud management system (Galgus Cloud Manager) enabled efficient and remote network administration.

As a result, the hotel now has 360 access points that provide a real capacity of 300 Mbps in each room, allowing for a total bandwidth that can reach up to 60 Gbps without any bottlenecks.
Guests enjoy uninterrupted multimedia activities such as streaming, video calls, and voice IP management.
This level of satisfaction has been reflected in the continued trust in Galgus since 2015, in contrast to the industry trend of changing providers every three years.
