MWC 2025: discover the Wi-Fi of the future that we are bringing to Barcelona

The Mobile World Congress 2025 has come to an end, and at Galgus we couldn’t be more proud of everything we’ve experienced during these intense days in Barcelona.

Once again, this event has been an exceptional opportunity to show the world the advances we are making in smart connectivity and location analytics, as well as to strengthen strategic alliances and, above all, to continue learning and being inspired by major players in the global technology sector.

Let’s review the key moments that have marked us at this MWC and that we don’t want you to miss if you didn’t have the chance to be there.

One of the highlights of our participation was the official presentation of the Andalusia Vuela Wi-Fi network, the largest Wi-Fi project in Europe. For Galgus it is a real honour to be part of this initiative together with INNOVASUR, Telefónica, Vodafone and Huawei.

This network provides free, high-quality Wi-Fi connectivity to more than 10,500 public offices of the Junta de Andalucía, bringing digitalisation to all citizens and setting an international benchmark in public infrastructure.

On the other hand, our colleague Gerardo Fontenla gave an inspiring talk on the concept of Deterministic Wi-Fi, highlighting the importance of defining clear KPIs to ensure consistent and reliable connectivity.

Through clear examples, he explained how the implementation of these indicators allows us to offer a more predictable experience, reduce operating costs, minimize calls to technical support and improve service scalability. A vision that reflects our commitment to transform connectivity into a transparent, measurable and high-performance service.

In addition, our colleague Arturo Soto participated in the round table “Emerging technologies and business: strategies to stay at the forefront”, where the integration of key technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Edge Computing or Quantum Computing in business strategies was discussed. A key space to share how Galgus is betting on continuous innovation as a driving force to offer smarter and more sustainable solutions.

The MWC also provided us with a valuable opportunity to network with companies from around the world. Thanks to our colleagues Óscar Rodríguez and Alexandre Ricardo Andrade, from our partner Sysman, we shared experiences with companies from Colombia. In addition, our colleague Daria Pedan held meetings with organizations from Italy together with our partners Around People and IT Answer.

Added to this is the strengthening of ties with other strategic partners such as Wizzie, with whom we continue to work side by side.

Finally, we would like to especially thank Red.es and Deloitte for facilitating the arrival of groups of companies to our stand and making possible so many valuable conversations and potential collaborations.

At Galgus, we are closing this edition of the MWC with renewed energy, new alliances and the conviction that we are on the right path to continue leading the digital transformation through connectivity.

See you at the next big event!
