At Galgus we are celebrating our anniversary. 9 years to which we have made the most of and during which we have grown hand in hand with customers, partners and users of WiFi networks all over the world. Here we summarise them for you, as well as telling you how we are celebrating.
9 years that have borne much reward
It seems unbelievable, but it has been 9 years since we decided to embark on the Galgus project. An initiative that arose from our desire to provide society with the WiFi wireless connectivity solutions they need to improve the daily lives of users, companies and institutions in all kinds of areas and scenarios.
Something that we were able to make available to everyone thanks to the work and talent of each and every one of the people who have become part of our family since 2013.
All this has already crystallised in the fact that more than 1 million users enjoy our networks on a daily basis, whether they are on a plane, train, in a café, hotel, airport or school.
Much of the blame for this lies with our 5 international patents that have shaped technologies that are able to deliver the best experience for users and owners of WiFi networks, as well as other contextual data of enormous value to businesses and public bodies.
In addition, and although the greatest recognition is the trust of our customers, we have received several awards in these 9 years, to which we must add the membership of entities such as the Wi-Fi Alliance and the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA).
With all this in our hands, it was inevitable to expand our borders, settle down and take on various projects in other countries around the world. In fact, we already have offices in Latin American countries and in the United States, where we have the challenge of contributing to the reduction of the digital divide.
How do we celebrate our ninth anniversary?
All this deserved a celebration by the Galgus team, where we were accompanied by many friends and other fellow travellers who have helped us get to where we are today.
So, first of all, our CEO, José González, accompanied by other members of the team, had a few words of thanks for everyone, as well as some illustrative data of the trajectory of Galgus.
It was also the ideal moment to propose new and exciting goals to continue growing and to demonstrate that there is no challenge that they are not capable of overcoming with the effort of all.
But as it wasn’t all work, after these words it was time to share a table and enjoy an excellent team meal, where there was no shortage of laughter, anecdotes and, in short, the family atmosphere that accompanies us in our day-to-day work.
We are convinced that these 9 years are just the beginning and that we still have a lot of good things to tell you. The world of WiFi connectivity is constantly evolving and adapting to social, technological and professional changes.
