Both companies have reached an agreement to manufacture and commercialize high-capacity Wi-Fi connectivity solutions for high-user density areas.
Internet consumption has undergone through a major change in recent years due to the generalization of the use of smartphones and the consumption of content formats such as video streaming. This has led to a saturation of Wi-Fi networks, especially in high-density areas of connected devices, such as transport, commercial or business areas, residential or educational environments and the industry sector 4.0, which ends on a bad user experience.
In this context, Landatel and Galgus, have allied to launch a new platform that converts access points into smart equipment capable of managing network resources jointly by multiplying by five the performance of the system without cuts or interruptions in the connection.
“With CHT (Cognitive HotspotTM Technology) the access points measure and share everything that happens around them to make joint decisions without the need for a controller”. explains José González CEO of GALGUS.
According to David Gonzalez, Commercial Director of Landatel: “GALGUS allows us to work at full capacity in Wi-Fi environments where other systems fail. Its versatility makes it possible to integrate a wide range of products to meet all coverage needs, competing with large manufacturers within the segment of high-density user solutions. “
GALGUS technology has been implemented in complex scenarios such as aircraft, ships and buses around the world with a high level of reliability, solving the challenges posed by other vertical markets with similar problems such as hotels, luxury resorts and the MICE sector.
