Under the idea “For a Strong Digital Europe”, on September 9 and 10, EIT Digital held its annual conference in Brussels. Attended by more than 1,000 participants, Galgus was one of the 50-top European deep tech scaleups exhibiting there.
Attended by our EMEA Sales Director, Francisco Campins, Galgus had a booth to welcome visitors who wanted to know more about the main benefits of our technology for the optimization, management and analysis of WiFi networks. Thus, we had the opportunity to explain our Software-Defined WiFi disruptive philosophy that proposes the independence of the software from the hardware, allowing the network owner to choose the Access Points (APs) that best fit his needs and budget. Thanks to this, a commodity AP becomes an enterprise-grade AP with a simple software update.
According Francisco Campins, “having so many meetings in just two days has been awesome! Not just the quantity but the quality. We’re looking forward to make all them progress into real business opportunities”.
In February 2019, Galgus joined the EIT Digital Accelerator and, back in 2016, Galgus was awarded in the EIT Digital Challenge in the category “Best Digital Infrastructure in Europe”. The EIT Digital Accelerator provides tailor-made growth support for European tech scaleups by helping secure international customers and raise capital. The Accelerator team comprises around 30 experienced business developers and finance experts operating from 15 cities across Europe, along with a hub in Silicon Valley. Since 2012, they have supported 300 startups who raised over €450 million in investment, with more than €100 million directly facilitated by the Accelerator.
