CHALLENGE
HIGH-QUALITY INTERNET IN ITS ENVIRONMENT
This establishment is considered one of the best hotels in Seville by national and international institutions. Additionally, its Convention Center stands out as the largest in the city, regularly hosting events with over 1,000 participants.
In 2015, the Wi-Fi technology deployed in this hotel did not provide an acceptable quality of service, leading to numerous complaints from guests as well as from organizers and participants of events, congresses, and conferences held on its premises.
This situation prompted them to contact Galgus with the aim of achieving a fast, reliable, and secure Wi-Fi network for their establishment.
SOLUTION
OPTIMIZE YOUR NETWORK SYSTEM
To solve their issues, Galgus deployed 201 WiFi access points (171 indoor and 30 outdoor), which led them to achieve a WiFi rating of 8.7 on Booking.com.
This deployment covers:
- 295 rooms.
- 7 suites.
- 2 swimming pools.
- 4 bars and restaurants.
- Lounges and common areas.
- A vast convention area (over 2,000 square meters) that hosts more than 100 events per year, many of them large-scale.
With this deployment, the venue gained enough capacity for guests to stream content smoothly, make video calls, and manage any task requiring an internet connection.
