Costa de Almería, a leading company in the commercialization of Almerian vegetables since 1996, has established itself as an international benchmark in its sector. Currently, it employs around 700 people and has an annual operation volume exceeding 130 million euros.
They needed a technological infrastructure that could support their continuous growth and ensure efficiency in all their operations.
The facilities of Costa de Almería, which include two large warehouses used for auctions, handling, and fifth-range production, presented a significant challenge in terms of connectivity.
The Wi-Fi coverage in these areas, filled with boxes and storage materials, was inconsistent due to signal bounce, affecting daily operations and real-time responsiveness.

To address these challenges, Galgus carried out a deployment that installed a total of 18 access points (APs) with our CHT (Cognitive Hotspot Technology) in the two warehouses.
They were distributed to maximize coverage and minimize signal bounce issues. Each access point was configured to ensure a smooth transition of devices between them.
The deployment was carried out in two phases, one for each warehouse, with detailed planning to ensure the company’s operations were not interrupted during the installation.
The implemented solution not only improved Wi-Fi coverage but also provided a more stable and robust network, ready to support the company’s future expansion, including the planning of a third warehouse.
