Thanks to the collaboration between Sysman, CRG Solutions, and Galgus’s Presence & Location Analytics technology, the local government has optimized the control of tourist and citizen movement. This improvement allows for real-time resource management, enhancing the overall experience and increasing security in the city’s key areas.

The local government of La Dorada, the highest authority in the city responsible for public resource management and citizen security, faced the challenge of optimizing capacity control in key areas.
As a tourist destination in the Caldas department, La Dorada needed a technological solution to enhance security and real-time resource management.
Additionally, implementing an effective monitoring system would facilitate the management of tourists and visitors, ensuring a safe and organized experience.
Deployed solution
High-precision real-time location and presence analytics
To address this need, 16 Wi-Fi access points (APs) equipped with Galgus’s location and presence analytics technology were deployed, enabling authorities to access real-time data on crowd capacity and people flow, optimizing decision-making.
Additionally, the solution was integrated with the Marso Smart Cities platform by Sysman, allowing centralized data collection and analysis through an advanced visual interface. This facilitates informed decision-making and the dynamic adjustment of security and urban management strategies.
To ensure an effective implementation aligned with the municipality’s requirements, CRG Solutions handled the installation of the devices and the deployment of the infrastructure.
The process included a detailed planning phase, ensuring optimal coverage and efficient system performance.
